The team was very pleased that one of their hardest working players,
their goalkeeper Gwen Morris, had received the Wales Volunteer of
the Year 2018 awards from the Wales Council for Voluntary Action
and the Under 18 Volunteer of the Year at the Gwynedd and Anglesey
School Sports Awards for her dedication to volunteer as a coach for
the club's young children.
The club is extremely proud of their young squad this year.
Especial congratulations to two of them, Elain Lloyd Owen
and Mared Llwyd, who were invited to play for the North Wales
team under 13 in a three-day tournament at Manchester University.
Hard work to develop the club's youth skills is obviously paying off!
At the end of last season, Gwenno Gibbard was awarded as
Player of the Year, Manon Lloyd Williams as Player's Player
and Natalie Meek, one of the younger members who has played her
first season with the older team, as the club's Young
Sportswoman of the Year.
